Life-changing adventures for young people.

Are you a teacher or youth worker?

Would you like to help your students discover their full potential?

If yes, then read on…

Monster Mountains is a FREE adventure program for schools and charities.

We work with teachers and youth workers, and together help young people discover their full potential.

What is Monster Mountains?

Who’s it for?

Participants are typically 12 to 18 years old - from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Impact will be especially significant for students with:

  • limited access to nature

  • SEND

  • low self-belief

Because there is no hiding from the wind, the exposure, the fatigue.

Young people discover they can keep going - despite the challenges - and thus develop self-belief.

With improved self-belief they can strive for fulfilling goals in life.

Why outdoor challenge?

What is the role of the teacher/youth worker?

You are the hero of this story! You know your young people best, and they must feel that you are leading the program. Our job is to guide you every step of the way.

We know you work hard, so everything is made easy. We provide everything from risk assessments; to parent letters; to planning info; and professional instruction in the outdoors. And it’s all 100% FREE.

What does the program look like?

Step 1 - We arrange a call/ in-person visit

Step 2 - You choose a team of young people

Step 3 - Training day at Hill End Outdoor Centre (near Oxford)

Step 4 - Agree on a mountain adventure location and date (summer conditions)

Step 5 - Summer mountain adventure

Step 6 (optional) - Extend the program to include a winter mountain adventure (for ambitious groups)

We are currently accepting enquiries for the academic year 2026/2027.

Send us a message if you’re interested in learning more and we will arrange a follow up call.

“I can’t tell you how grateful we are.

You have taught our son valuable life skills which will help him enormously going forwards and it is so lovely to see him grow in confidence and maturity as a result.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!”
